New Renault Kadjar India Launch? We don’t think so yet!December 2, 2018
Renault has been selling the Kadjar internationally since 2015 and recently showcased the new 2019 version. Certainly looks like a grown up Captur and gets Nissan’s all-wheel drive systems and off-road capabilities. For the uninitiated, Renault and Nissan work together in various markets around the world and hence the partnership.
The new Renault Kadjar has made improvements across all parameters and Renault claims it is (as compared to older version) more advanced and gets (more) fuel-efficient gasoline and diesel engines for greater driving pleasure. Advanced as in stuff like LED treatment for indicator, fog lamps and even lights which as a result lowers energy consumption by six times lower as compared to normal lamps. Also, the 19 inch alloy wheels are an aesthetic highlight.
The new Kadjar gets a pair of engines, one each for petrol and gasoline. The former is the updated ultramodern 1.3 TCe GPF engine while the latter can be had in two states of tune. This SUV certainly looks good but Renault’s current big offerings in India, the Duster and Captur, are going through a tough time with lowest sales and highest discounts ever.
